Yh Giralda - Sevilla

The location to the sites we wanted to visit was great but the hotel itself is off a main street and up an alleyway with not a very appealing location or entrance.

We were first given a room on the third (highest) floor. There was a glass type of roof but no way to vent the area so it was very hot. The room itself would have been cool enough but the A/C was leaking water on the floor so fast a towel couldn't keep it dry. There was also a small step up as soon as you entered the room (allowed the door to swing open) that you could easily trip on and the cold water at the sink had hardly any water pressure. No windows in the room except one to the interior court that you would not want to open due to the heat. After a little negotiation we were moved to a second story room that was more updated but still no window to the outside. There was also no elevator. I would only stay here if I was on a budget and wanted to be close to the cathederal.

Excellent location, good value, helpful bilingual staff. Room was charming and well maintained.

The Giralda is comfortable, though the showers are small the bathrooms are nice. But there are two things that make this little hotel a stand out: the staff and the location. The staff is knowledgeable, make good recommendations and are thoughtful. The second thing is the perfect location, a quiet little street in the heart of Santa Cruz with everything a vacationing couple could wish within walking distance. Your taxi will not be able to take you to the door, but that is exactly what makes this little street peaceful in the evening.

The hotel is really well located, very near to the church and some great hot spots in Sevilla. The room was a very cozy and confortable duplex. Bathroom was beautiful. There are no services, but staff is really helpfull.

Ideal location, 1 minute walking from the cathedral. Silent street, next to a street full of restaurants and tapasbars. The hotel is a beautiful old building with a lot of characteristic elements. Staff is very friendly.

We had a room adjacent to the lobby and reception area. Unfortunately, the beautiful old wooden doors weren't soundproof, we could hear every word that was spoken at the reception. The room was small, just enough space to walk around the bed, and the closet was a bit damp. The bathroom was very spatious on the other hand.

Is the best location in Sevill. Just next to everything and in the most beautifulll neibourhood. Full of bars and restaurant next to it. The hotel is lovely, samall and very confortable.If a go back to Sevill I'll definetly stay in YH Giralda.

The wather in the shower comes out and the toilet was full of wather everywhere.

Great location for a fair price, very nice design. nice little hotel right in the centre in Seville, 5min walk from la Giralda.

I've booked a double room but got a twin; this wasn't the major issue. the problem was bathroom- very small with water coming out to the room, we had to use extra towels to stop it. also, there was no lift and quite steep steps which could be a problem for older people or those with heavy luggage.

Very clean and good location.

Very, very noisy but not because of its excellent central location but because the staff were permanently slamming doors, talking loudly, vacuum cleaning at 3pm, etc.

Location was very convenient for shopping and site seeing. Large number of very good restaurants close by.

The location was perfect. Our room was quiet even in a busy part of town. The bed was comfortable.

Location for sight seeing in seville is brilliant, right beside the cathedral

Very central indeed, staff were very polite and there to help with any questions. I would stay there again

Location was great. Hotel was quiet. Had no problem getting good night's rest.
